The Next STEP was designed so that there could be increased involvement between students and faculty in the areas of undergraduate research and learning communities. Research has indicated that students achieve greater satisfaction and success with their educational experience and stay more involved when they have meaningful contact and interaction with faculty throughout their undergraduate experience. There are several opportunities for faculty members from Truman State University, Metropolitan Community Colleges, Moberly Area Community College and St. Charles Community College to assist students with their academic growth and development, as well as opportunities for their own professional development.
