We’re all familiar with the expression “… it takes money to make money…”; this applies to education as well. You may be able to get a great paying job after you earn your STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, & Mathematics) degree, but that will only happen if you can afford to obtain the degree.
The SPECTRA program understands and has scholarship money available for students starting their education at Truman.
For Incoming Freshman
SPECTRA Summer Scholars Program
Students who will graduate from high school in the spring of 2015 and have been accepted for admission to Truman State University for the Fall 2015 semester are eligible for our Summer Scholars Program that provides on-campus room and board, free tuition to take up to nine credits of select STEM courses during the summer, and a $1,000 stipend upon successful completion of the program.
