Transfer students from the three community college partner schools are eligible to receive a $2,000 Automatic Scholarship. The scholarship is available to transfer students majoring in a science or math field. A competitive program, all transfer students may not necessarily receive this funding. Awards are based on potential for success and need. This scholarship is considered part of the student’s entire financial aid package.
There is no separate application required for The Next STEP scholarship. When you complete your application for the Bridge Program you will have the option to select if you would like to be considered for the scholarship.

Students must be accepted to Truman State University prior to their acceptance into the Bridge Program. Please visit Truman's Transfer Student Website for more information. Students interested in the Scholarship must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Assistance (FAFSA) and identify Truman (Title IV Code 002495) as one of the schools to receive your application results.
