Biographical Sketch
Vayujeet Gokhale was born in Bombay, India. He received his bachelorrs degree in Physics and Masterrs degree in Nuclear Physics from the University of Bombay in 1996 and 1998, respectively. For two years Vayujeet worked in the field of Gamma ray astronomy at the Bhabha Atomic Research Center at Trombay, India. From the year 2000-2007, Vayujeet worked on his PhD at the Louisiana State University in the field of compact binary star evolution. Vayujeet joined the physics department at Truman State University in the fall of 2007 as a temporary assistant professor. At Truman, he has taught courses in Introductory Physics, Modern Physics and Electrical Circuits.
