Dr. Scott Alberts

Research Interests

Scott Alberts' research focuses on quantitative methods for measuring group behavior and decision-making, and the general process of data collection as a part of real-world projects. Recent projects have included a study of cheating on campus and a study of attitudes regarding experiences watching pornography in groups. Current research is looking at statistical applications of voting theory and a student of mathematics anxiety.

Biographical Sketch

In his ninth year at Truman, Dr. Alberts teaches statistics, particularly those used in attitude surveys. He also serves as the faculty advisor to the Student Senate, and is active with Interdisciplinary Studies at Truman. He is also active at Trinity Episcopal Church, where he serves as the choirmaster and music coordinator. When not working, he likes games and puzzles, intellectual banter, good music, and bad television. He is also happy to show you hundreds of pictures of his baby.
