Students who participate in The Next STEP’s Bridge Program and/or Undergraduate Research Program have the opportunity to attend and present their work at a variety of conferences. These include both Truman’s Student Research Conference held during the Spring semester and at an off-campus professional conference. Students consult with their faculty mentor(s) to determine the appropriate, professional conferences and meetings to attend. To further this opportunity for professional development, funds are provided so that students may attend and present their research.
