Academic Tutoring
Community College transfer students participating in the Bridge Program are provided with academic tutoring. Tutoring is provided by trained, upper-level students at no charge to participants.
Upper-level students within the science and mathematics disciplines serve as tutors. This is a wonderful opportunity for any student thinking about either graduate school or teaching as possibilities for the future. Tutors receive training and compensation for their work. Training workshops present information on ethics, confidentiality, pedagogy, university resources and additional relevant materials.
