The Missouri Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation (MOLSAMP) is a statewide alliance of nine colleges and universities sponsored by the National Science Foundation with the goal of diversifying the workforce in Missouri by increasing the number of graduates in populations historically underrepresented in STEM (African Americans, Hispanic Americans, American Indians, Alaska Natives, Native Hawaiians, and Native Pacific Islanders).
With support from the National Science Foundation, the MOLSAMP Scholars program is another way Truman’s STEP Office is supporting our STEM degree programs to increase degree production to meet the economic development needs of Missouri, America, and the community of Truman alumni.
Eligible Truman STEM majors are encouraged to consider joining our program. You can find out more about eligibility through our website. If you have any questions about this program, please contact us by email at molsamp@truman.edu or our Program Director Dr. Barbara Kramer (bkramer@truman.edu).
